Before beginning the electronic process, please ensure that you review the requirement below:

Research Appointments Committee

The WCH Appointments & Promotions Committee is responsible for reviewing research appointment requests. The committee meets quarterly, and the following are upcoming meeting dates:

  • May 21, 2025

To be considered at a given meeting, applications must be submitted at least three weeks in advance of the meeting date.

Request Process Overview

  1. Determine your eligibility and requirements for a research appointment.  For an overview of research appointment categories and their definitions, requirements,  expectations, and available WCH supports, please refer to the matrix document.
  2. Complete the new electronic application request via link here.  *If you need to leave this form, save your progress by selecting “Save and Return Later”.
  3. Applications will be reviewed by the WCH Appointments & Promotions Committee.  Approval letters will be sent out by the Manager, Research Grants, in consultation with the VP, Academics.
