We recently released an opinion piece authored by Dr. Paula Rochon, Professor Rachel Savage, and Jen Recknagel from the NIC about the potential NORCs have to improve health and wellness for all ages. Read the op-ed here.

Our team is growing, and we are excited to welcome Ine Baljaars as a postdoctoral fellow and Kristina Fernando will be coming on as a Research Assistant, contributing their expertise and skills to the Healthy Cities project. We would also like to recognize the work of summer SSRP students Mahnaz Khomamizadeh and Zoe Mohan who worked on looking at innovative housing models and wrote a commentary that has been accepted for publication in the Journal of the American Geriatric Society.
