Women’s College Hospital Research and Innovation Trainees Awarded Scholarships for Women’s Health Research

Health research is the cornerstone of improved care and a more resilient healthcare system. In 2021, Women’s College Hospital (WCH) launched an ambitious strategy that created a unified Academics Department integrating research, innovation and education. Today, the WCH Research and Innovation Institute leads high-impact health research focused on delivering real-time improvements in patient care, advancing health equity and developing innovative solutions for the healthcare system.

As part of its commitment to continuous learning and growth within the women’s health field, the Institute is dedicated to supporting the next era of researchers and scientists through training, mentorship and scholarships.

The awards were adjudicated by the training committee, including Joanne Kotsopoulos, PhD, Dr. Husam Abdel-Qadir and Dr. Aaron Drucker
